Took Toby for a local hike today in the San Joaquin River wetlands. Here is what we saw, including a gorgeous blue heron and a beautiful Jag by the cafe. Sorry for the camera phone - I forgot my camera.

Had you bothered to lug your real camera out there with you I guarantee you wouldn’t have seen anything worth taking a picture of. Happens to me all the time.

I do not accept you apology for camera equipment.

As one once said: the best camera in the world is the one you havebwith you.

I may have paraphrased a bit, but no more apologies. Camera phones are better than point & shoots and some DSLRs.
